24-year-old Tampa-area resident Cameron Mohammed was walking with his girlfriend into Walmart at around 3 a.m. when the two were approached from behind by 25-year-old Daniel Quinnell. Quinnell yelled racial epithets at the two, then fired 20 shots at Mohammed with a pellet gun.

Blood spouting from his head and his neck, his hand on his gun, the opportunities for self defense or vengeance were plenty. He could have easily pulled out the .45-caliber Taurus pistol right then and put a bullet in his assailant ass.

Because of the pellet stuck above his left eye, Cameron Mohammed says he can’t look upward without sharp pain.

But Mohammed, 24, kept his gun in the holster. Because his attacker used a pellet gun… Mohammed’s was real.

“I don’t know. I just couldn’t do it,” Mohammed said, recovering at his Tampa home two days after the attack. “I couldn’t blow this guy away for something he could change later in life. I’m not going to decide this man’s fate.”

Quinnell was arrested 2 days later after his own mom gave him up. He was booked into the Land O’Lakes jail on a charge of aggravated assault and $20,000 bail. Investigators on Friday said they have evidence to classify the case as a hate crime, elevating the charge to a first-degree felony.

I can easily say…Cameron Mohammed is a better man than I am. But WTF if you have a permit for a  CCW (carrying a concealed weapon), dammit man, this was the time to use it.

Tulsa police arrested a woman for mixing chemicals to make meth inside a South Tulsa Walmart Thursday.

Police say surveillance video shows that Elizabeth Alisha Greta Halfmoon, 45, had been in the store since noon. Six hours later security noticed she was acting suspicious, so they called Tulsa Police.

Why would she risk blowing up an entire Walmart and all the people in it? Responding officers say she claimed she was “too broke to buy the chemicals.”

She didn’t have the money to make the purchases of the chemicals that were needed so she was taking what was needed in the bottle.

“She’s been arrested before for the manufacture of methamphetamine. While speaking with some of the firefighters on the scene she made statements that that’s what she was doing that she was attempting to obtain these chemicals and was in the process of trying to manufacture methamphetamine. However she said that she was not very good at it,” said police officer David Shelby.

According to the Oklahoma State Courts Network, Halfmoon was taken into custody on September 13 on one count of endeavoring to manufacture controlled drugs – methamphetamine. The disposition was dismissed a month later after the prosecution’s witness failed to appear.

On November 6, Halfmoon was again taken into custody. She was held on two counts, one for unlawful possession of a controlled drug – methamphetamine. The other count was obtaining a controlled drug by forged/altered prescription. She was charged for both counts on November 17.

Wal-Mart needs to start charging an admission to shop at their store…we usually see pictures of circus freaks and video game characters, but this is just WRONG on so many levels.
