The Alsatian had lost so much weight that the only way vets could tell the breed was by his head.

Soldier’s former owner John Hendricks, pleaded guilty to causing him unnecessary suffering on March 1 and was banned from keeping dogs for ten years.

He was also fined $240.00 (£150) and ordered to pay 1,200 (£750) in vet costs.

This guy should have been banned for life from ever owning any animal.
