David Davis (that’s his name), 21 of New Haven, was sitting inside an apartment on Henry Street in Stamford’s south end just before 12:30 p.m., getting a haircut, when a man he had been arguing with earlier approached him.

Afraid that this person was going to harm him, Davis picked up a pair of scissors and slashed the dude in the back. Lucky for the victim, who was wearing a heavy jacket the injuries were minor.

Police found the 21-year-old Davis shortly after the incident with the aid of a police dog and an anonymous tip. He had a wound on his right side and was taken to a hospital.

Davis was charged with first-degree assault and is being held on $5,000 bond, however, he was also subsequently wanted on a second-degree failure to appear warrant for a previous arrest with a court-set bond of $750.

This guy has it all going for him… he’s a criminal, he’s got stupid looking tattoos, a ridiculous haircut and a funny name.
