Claimed to be the world`s first compact semi submarine, the battery powered EGO will be about as difficult to drive as a Segway.  Measuring approximately 9` (H) x  12` (L), the mini sub uses and electronic accelerator pedal much like the one used in a car and with a top speed of 5 knots, you can expect to be underwater for about 4 hours on single charge ( 8 hours at cruising speed).

The view is courtesy of windows made from a special acrylic material that are most often used in aquariums, allowing for maximum transparency and pressurization. Other notable features include and LCD monitoring system, a waterproof HAD CCD camera, and a VHF Marine two way radio.

You can expect the EGO to come in a variety of flavors like lime green or French rose. Jacques Cousteau would be proud.
