The van must have had a bull’s eye painted on it, because the impact was so precise, that he ended up stopping right between a husband and wife as they sat in the back seat.

The couple in the back of the van — Sammy and Nicole Cannon — were, miraculously, unhurt, as was the driver of the van Jeff Stark.

“We were just cruising in the center lane when we heard a big ol’ bang — and he’s lying between us,” Sammy Cannon said.

Robert Kelly went to hospital where he is listed in critical condition as of yesterday.

According to witnesses, Kelly was going at such a high rate of speed, that he most likely didn’t even see the van in front of him until it was too late.

They were all in shock after the wreck, which was like something from an action movie. The Cannons stood along I-75 with Sammy holding his wife close, her head to his chest.
