I got lost after he said 2.5 gallons of beer chamber filled with ice cold ale. Nvidia has solved the age old dilemma on when do you pause the game to get (/me drools) a refreshing cold beer when on a killing spree.

At a consumer electronics convention in Las Vegas this week, electronics firm Nvidia unveiled the so-called KEGputer. Yup, it’s a beer keg and a computer rolled into one. This is one of those moments when a bright light shines over you and the Heavens sing.

Anyone who’s been to enough LAN parties can tell you that PC gaming and beer go together like Mr. Pibb and Doritos–as long as you don’t actually get any beer in your computer. Except, that’s exactly what NVIDIA has done, with the first ever Kegputer.

The Kegputer features a pair of GeForce GTX 580s running in SLI mode, which makes this not only one of the fastest gaming rigs out there, but the most refreshing as it also packs a mean ice cold Pale Ale.

This mod is a blissful marriage of a 15.5 gallon keg and a liquid cooled GeForce GTX gaming PC.   Did I mention that it has a fully functional beer dispensing system? Thanks to Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. we were able to develop a solution to install a 2.5 gallon mini keg with an integrated refrigeration system and in-line Co2 pump into the KEGputer.  With it, you can pour ice-cold beer without the need of pesky beer pumps or giant tubs of ice.
If they could only combine this with a pizza machine, I’d never leave my house again.

Unfortunately, the KEGputer is a one of the kind that cost its inventor almost $5,000 to produce. Nvidia plans to auction it off at the conclusion of the convention.
