Ok so it is not exactly like the ‘million’ dollar Batpod built by Parker Brothers Choppers, but those guys are professional bike builders with a slightly larger budget. Just take into consideration this version was built by a young mechanic who only had access to various cheap scrap parts and used only images and the Dark Knight films as reference.

A video of the mystery rider has clocked up more than half a million hits on YouTube as he appears to ride over the top of a narrow, snow-covered mountain range before stopping at the end.

But the slick footage has led to speculation it is in fact a clever fake, using various methods of camera trickery.

This guy has some serious chicken neck stabilizers…notice how his head doesn’t move at all.

Powered by a 1000W, 48V electric motor, the bike has a range of 90 miles. Reflective exterior almost disappears and the rider silently floats uncomfortably along the streets. But wait, there’s more: all of the ride-related data, including speed and GPS, is displayed on the riders’ smartphone through downloadable apps.

Aside from its somewhat ridiculous name, designer Imran Othman claims the Dyke is inspired by Dyson’s Air Multipliers and works of the same principles.

Air flows through the bronze hollow cylinder creating an entrainment. The air is then pulled, and amplified by 1000000 times, which pushes the bike upwards (stability) and forward (speed), all powered by electricity.

If the Dyke ever comes to fruition, you can expect to pay a hefty price…have you seen how much Dyson vacuum cleaners are going for?

Inspired by ‘musculature’, designer Min Seong Kim claims that the whole body is made up of materials that stretch and contract just like the muscles in your body do, thus enabling steering without any kind of assistive apparatus.

When turning a corner, the entire body relaxes so that it can smoothly corner, and when accelerating, it contracts to form a rigid body. It also looks like the windshield doubles as an illuminated instrument panel…yup I want.

Although it does have a Predator-ish-like mouth, the Bangkok artist used recycled materials from old cars and bicycles to create a monster machine which is sculpted to look like an Alien. Roongrojna Sangwongprisarn, 54, has four shops across the country – named the Ko Art Shop – and exports his creations to clients all over the world.

Unfortunately, the fear of decapitation would keep me off this bike. Let see Senior (OCC) try to top this!

In Uno mode, the vehicle is a dicycle that balances on a single pair of parallel wheels, enabling unmatched nimbleness with an extremely tight turning radius. At high speeds, a middle wheel deploys forward and the outer wheels shift backwards.

Unfortunately the battery powered, zero emissions Superbike maxes out at a dismal 30 MPH – classifying it as a scooter.

Air-powered motorcycles may not be the newest toy on the block, but there has never been one as fast, as impressive or as groundbreaking as the Saline Bird.

Powered by a compressed air engine provided by MDI, combined with 3 gas cylinders with total capacity of 27 liters, the Saline Bird was created for the Les Triplettes de Bonneville speed record event.

Designed by five Frenchmen Charles-Edouard Berche, Ugo Spagnolo , Adrien Fuinesl, Frédéric Dobbelstein and Jean-Philippe Paries, the Saline Bird is not just about lightning speed, but incredible aesthetic  design along with a dose of green technology. Optional leather body panels only add to the sleek, modernized finish.

The bike is currently being designed in two different models: one as a normal motorcycle and one for extremely high-speed, record-setting performance. Either way, however, the Saline Bird is a wake-up call to anyone who has ever argued that fossil fuel-free automobiles can’t measure up to their oil-dependent brethren.

On a side note, maybe they could do something about those air tanks being so close to my boys…I would hate for something to backfire.

True to Mansory luxury custom, the Mansory Zapico is dripping with carbon fiber, from the bug shield to the gas tank to the exhaust silencers, no surface has been left untouched, all hand built in Mansory’s Bavarian factory.

From 0 to 100 km/h in only 3.3 seconds, Zapico’s power train consists of a 124 c.i. 2,080 cc V-twin from famed American engine builder S&S, packing 160hp at 5,200 rpm to the rear wheel via a 5-speed transmission.

The Zapico is to be a ground-up build—reportedly by a chap called Thomas M. George and is expected to cost more than your house.

Shaw Harley Davidson, along with high end watch maker, Bell & Ross have collaborated on creating teh Nascafe Racer.

The bike is based on the FXSTB Softail Nightrain with the integration of a BR 01 Carbon watch into the center console. A blend of anodized blue, carbon plus stealth-like matte black custom paint has been used on the bike to mirror the watch’s design together with Bell & Ross logo detailing.

Handcrafted sheet aluminium was cut and tailored to match the designs of the bike and were built around the front end of the bike to shroud the oil tank, which has been relocated to allow for the addition of the exhaust system.

The bike embodies the “performance, precision and engineering” of Bell & Ross with the execution and quality of Shaw Harley Davidson.

I can’t wait to see what this thing is going to cost.
