Aside from being the biggest bridge in the world, this new firebreathing Dragon Bridge is outfitted with a modern lighting system that includes 15,000 Philips LED lights that make it brilliantly change colors…but wait there’s more, cause firebreathing and a spectacular light show are boring…the dragon is also capable of releasing bursts of fire or sprays of water from its mouth.

The bridge is located in Da Nang, Vietnam and opened on March 29, the 38th anniversary of the liberation of Da Nang City, the 666 meter long, 37.5 meter wide bridge has six lanes for traffic and two pedestrian sidewalks.

In all, it cost $85 million to build, which seems like a small price to pay for the bragging rights of having a city with a bridge that breathes fire, spits out water and changes colors.

Actually I may need to hit a few jackpots to be able to afford this $390 million penthouse.

This is a rendering of a multi-storey penthouse in Monaco which is about to become the world’s most expensive property per square meter when it comes onto the market next year.

The Odeon Tower will soar a whopping 170m towards the sky, contain 70 luxury apartments…including an amazing 3,300 sq meter multi-story penthouse complete with private water slide and exclusive infinity pool.

The entire project is expected to be completed by July 2014, so start saving you money now.

This makes me want to go play Tropico 4. Tenements for the locals, luxury hotel on the beach for the tourists.

Constructed at mind boggling, dizzying heights on the sides of mountains, these impossibly built monasteries ensured only the most devoted – and vertigo-free – followers would join them for prayer.

Many of these monasteries were only accessible by steep and secret paths in order to provide the most seclusion as they sought uninterrupted spiritual awakening.

If you thought the pyramids in Egypt were an architectural marvel, take a look at the monastery on the side of Mt Huashan in China that dangles seemingly in defiance of the laws of physics.

Tired of the world… When can I move in?

It uses a computer-controlled suction and filtration system to suck water in from the ocean at one end and pump it out at the other, while the sun warms it to 26C – nine degrees higher than the sea.

The Sands Skypark with pool is built at the height of 200 meters. Its lush, landscaped gardens are home to 250 trees and 650 plants and offer a total of 12,400 square meters of space – thats big enough to fit three football fields.

Hotel guests have the exclusive use of a 150-meter infinity swimming pool, the world’s largest outdoor pool at that height. Then of course there is the view…day or night you are treated to what has to be one of the most spectacular views in the world, views of the South China Sea or Singapore skyline.

The 1.2 hectare Skypark, designed as a tropical oasis, is longer than the Eiffel tower is tall and large enough to park four-and- a-half A380 jumbo jets.
