Sure, we’ve seen our fair share of wooden watches in the past, but nothing prepared us for this.

OK, OK, so they are not entirely made of wood, there is a metal spring needed to propel the movement…but the rest is wood and get this, Some of his watches have power reserves of 20 hours and are typically accurate to withing five minutes a day.

His latest creation is a men’s wristwatch with a tourbillon movement and full retrograde indication—the result of 1,800 work hours over seven months—that comes with a $128,000 price tag.

I won’t be buying one of these, because surprisingly and bizarre, I have a fridge… besides that, beer just doesn’t have a chance to get cold once I open it.

To use it, you simply throw the thing in the freezer, and once it’s good and cold, crack open your beer and put it down inside. Thanks to openings in the top, you can drink straight through it, or use it to chill your beer as you pour it into your favorite mug

Well today Defense Distributed tested their ‘Liberator ‘— a pistol made entirely of ABS plastic (15 of the 16 pieces made with 3D printer) with the exception of a nail you can find at any hardware store as the firing pin. (standard .380 handgun round)

So what does this mean? Potentially this marks in a very real way the arrival of firearms that can be printed in someone’s garage, by people who have to answer to no one about how many of those guns they make, or where those firearms go.

For as little as $1000 (plus the $8000 3D printer) and the schematics for the weapon, which Defense Distributed founder Cody Wilson is planning on making available for free this weekend, you too can build your own gun and break into someone’s house or just take out the ex-wife…she had it coming anyway.

Update: On Sunday, New York Senator Charles Schumer echoed Israel’s call for that new legislation to ban 3D-printable guns. “A terrorist, someone who’s mentally ill, a spousal abuser, a felon can essentially open a gun factory in their garage.”

This ultimate hangover cure is topped with an extensive beer chaser consisting of pop corn, bacon, peanuts, beans, sausage, pretzel, sliders, a pickle and (this is Wisconsin after all) a cracker and cheese curd. Plus a Brewers flag.

Durex has just announced its latest innovation…Fundawear.

Fundawear represents the condom company’s first foray into the land of connected devices, and the name explains quite well how it works. You put on special (read: vibrating) underwear that connect to a smartphone app. You can control the vibrations yourself with a smartphone as a remote, or pair the panties with your partner’s smartphone, so they can control the fun.

This is not so much a terrible idea, for long-distance couples, as it stimulates a little bit of interactive sexual activity in the relationship…which of course can be very healthy.

With the BionicOpter, Festo has technically mastered the highly complex flight characteristics of the dragonfly. Just like its model in nature, this ultralight flying object can fly in all directions, hover in mid-air and glide without beating its wings.

In addition to control of the shared flapping frequency and twisting of the individual wings, each of the four wings also features an amplitude controller. The tilt of the wings determines the direction of thrust. Amplitude control allows the intensity of the thrust to be regulated. The next question…when will there be a bionic butterfly?

Aside from being the biggest bridge in the world, this new firebreathing Dragon Bridge is outfitted with a modern lighting system that includes 15,000 Philips LED lights that make it brilliantly change colors…but wait there’s more, cause firebreathing and a spectacular light show are boring…the dragon is also capable of releasing bursts of fire or sprays of water from its mouth.
