Chaos Erupts as Hacked TV Station Broadcasts Zombie Apocalypse Warning
It would only seem normal that chaos would break out after a Montana television station’s regular programming was interrupted by news…”Bodies of the dead are rising from their graves and attacking the living.” But you would be surprised as to how things turned out.
Oh shit, guys. It’s happening. It’s happening… No, no, the Montana Television Network says hackers broke into the Emergency Alert System.
The alert claimed the bodies were “attacking the living” and warned people not to “approach or apprehend these bodies as they are extremely dangerous.”
Civil authorities in your area have reported that the bodies of the dead are rising from their graves and attacking the living. Follow the messages on-screen that will be updated as information becomes available. Do not attempt to approach or apprehend these bodies as they are considered extremely dangerous. This warning applies to all areas receiving this broadcast.
Fortunately only four people fell for the hoax and actually called the police for help.
Somewhere in the great beyond, Orson Welles must be smiling at the continued ability of mass media to make people believe anything.
