Snorting Alcohol? New $35 Device allows you to Inhale your Booze
What seems to be a never ending race to find the most bizarre ways to get drunker faster (remember the booze soaked tampons?), has turned up a $35 device that has just gone on sale in the US which allows users to inhale or snort alcohol.
Why would one want to inhale a line of Vodka? Well by bypassing the digestive system, the alcohol is ingested directly to the bloodstream through the lungs, potentially causing dangerous levels of intoxication – especially if abused.
So how does it work? Vaportini acts in a manner similar to a traditional vaporizer, heating and releasing intoxicating vapors which are breathed through a straw after being heated by a candle to 140 Fahrenheit.
Apparently the ‘revolutionary new way’ of consuming alcohol is smooth and flavorful…and since it doesn’t go through the digestive track, no calories, no carbs no impurities and lets not forget that instant buzzzzzzz.
Ok so it’s not meant to be snorted…but come on now, you know your gonna try it.
According to Time Out Chicago, it was invented by a Chicago woman named Julie Palmer back in 2009, but it went on sale on her website for $34.50 each in December.
