Mech Warfare is near – Kuratas Battle Mech with Dual Gatling Guns
At just over 13-feet tall and weighing in a massive 4 tons, this iPhone controlled MechWarrior is just a small glimpse into the future of warfare.
Recently displayed at Japan’s Wonder Festival 2012 “Kratasu”, the million dollar project is claimed to be the world’s first robot capable of being boarded by a humanoid.
At the moment, the dual Gatling guns can fire BB rounds @ 6000 rounds per minute, but we all know this will change into .50 caliber machine guns once the US gets their paws on it. We may also have to add some NOS and some off road tires… Although the four wheeled legs ensures that it is easy to transport, the pilot will only be able to drive it at a top speed of just under 6.5 mph.
