Act of Cod – 24 Tons of Sardines Spilled
This is the kind of thing that happens when you forget to close the back door of your delivery truck. A ‘soon to be fired’ meatball of a truck driver held up traffic in Kolobrzeg, Poland, for hours after spilling 24 tons of sardines onto the road.
Like a plague of locusts the smelly fish backed motorists up for several hundred miles on both sides of the road.
The scales of justice did end up costing the polish driver $78 in fines as well as having to pay the nearly $8,000 it cost to clean up the road.
