Did you know that Pepsi and Coke Contains Alcohol?
Yes it is the reason I enjoy a couple cans of Pepsi at lunch…it settles my alcoholic cravings until I get home from work.
Ok, so it is not enough to get you drunk, but according to tests carried out by the Paris-based National Institute of Consumption Pepsi and Coke contain minute traces of alcohol.
In fact, more than half of the leading colas contain these traces… They suggest that the alcohol levels are as low as 10mg in every litre, and this works out at around 0.001 per cent alcohol.
Michel Pepin, scientific director for Coca-Cola France, said: ‘It is possible that traces of alcohol come from the process’ of making Coca Cola according to its secret recipe. Both companies suggested that natural fruit can ferment and produce minute traces of alcohol.
Yah, when did either companies start using natural fruit in their sodas?
So what’s the big deal? Well, this might just turn the Muslim world into chaos… everybody enjoys a nice Coke or Pepsi once in a while, but as we all know their religion forbids them from drinking alcohol. NO PEPSI FOR YOU!
This may just turn out to be the find of the century – Coca-Cola apparently contains at least as much alcohol as Coors Light.
