This is what I call advancing technology at its finest…a mouth spray that gets you drunk instantly.

Just the thing for the impatient alcoholic (like me), Quantum Sensations, is an aerosol spray that contains 0.075ml of alcohol that, when sprayed into the mouth, makes the user instantly drunk for a couple seconds… The makers claim, that the ‘harm’ is limited, because you sober up equally rapidly. (HUH?)

The feeling lasts just seconds – but when it fades, you are sober and able to carry on with your day…perfect for those moments when you need a little liquid courage to be able to talk to that hottie at the bus stop.

With a typical drink containing 40 to 60ml of alcohol, the scientists say it would take a thousand sprays to get the equivalent amount of alcohol into your system.

French designer Philippe Starck and Franco-American scientist David Edwards say the advantages is to enjoy the drunk sensation with none of the harmful effects of alcohol on the body.

The product is about to go on sale in Europe for $26.00 (20 Euros), with each capsule offering 21 ‘shots’.
