Milly the Micro Mutt – World’s Smallest Dog
Say hello to Milly the Puerto Rican Chihuahua that is about to be recognized as the world’s smallest dog.
After she was born three months ago the family believed that Milly would grow, but having maintained the same height of just 6.53cm for three weeks they began to think that the pedigree pup might be able to knock Boo Boo, the current record holder, from the top dog spot that she has held since February 2008.
Boo Boo, a long-haired female chihuahua from the U.S state of Kentucky, measures in at 10.16cm…which towers over the little bug-eyed contender.
A judge from the Guinness Book of Records is due to travel to Puerto Rico in the coming months to clarify Milly’s size and measurements which will then be sent from the island to be officially confirmed.
The eyes! This is the equivalent of a human lollipop head model in the doggie world.
