Look out – China’s First Ever Aircraft Carrier
Only slightly newsworthy… In another sign of military might, China’s first aircraft carrier, a gently owned Russian vessel that’s been refitted for serious sea cruising power is near completion.
Formerly the Soviet “Varyag”, China Defense Blog points out the decks mostly cleared, so this refurbished bruiser could be ready for plane-flinging action as soon later this year.
