Remember the 60’s? Me neither…Apparently the Volkswagen van, officially known as the “Transporter” was extremely popular during the counterculture movement of the flower power 1960’s – hence the nickname “hippie van”.

Now you can somewhat relive those days vicariously through the VW Camper Van Tent – Designed to look like a perfect 1:1 scale replica of their 1965 Camper Van, this tent is officially licensed by Volkswagen and comes in your choice of red, yellow or blue.

Put simply, this is awesomeness to a higher power, but costing a whopping $486 (£299.99), it’s a little pricey as far as tents go. Just remember, anybody can be cool – but awesome takes practice.
