Dubbed “Aurora” and “Orbit”, watch designers Ziiiro have come up with two new watches use an analog mechanism to display time as a mix of colors or as a pair of circling orbs.

With a learning curve similar to earlier models of Ziiiro watches, you intuitively learn a new way of telling time, just by looking at the resulting color mix – thankfully, the company’s website helpfully walks you through how to read them.

Expected to ship in late May, each watch will set you back at just under $200.

I think I’ll stick to my old Casio watch…this looks like too much rocket science to me.
