After looking at them again and again they are beginning to grow on me in a ‘My Little Pony’ kind of way…these designer horse hooves are sure to bring out the animal in you.

The knee-length and ankle-length shoes are made of a carbon-fibre hoof and up to 5,000 individual horse hairs.

“They are really comfortable and almost make you feel like you want to get on the track and gallop down the final furlong. I’m not sure they are for everyone but I definitely want a pair of hooves.”

The $2,000 (£1,300) shoes which were created by a team of fashion designers were commissioned to celebrate 100 years of the famous National Hunt festival, which begins today. The proceeds from the sale will benefit the Prostate Cancer Charity.

As good as this may look on the women,  that dude in the heels is just asking for a beating.
