I am not sure how much more intelligence can be crammed into the smartphone, but it is nice to see phone with such simplicity that even my grandmother could use (she likes big numbers).

A Russian company by the name of Just5, has come with a phone that essentially reverts back to the basics, like big number, bright colors and the ability to make/ receive calls and send SMS.

In an effort to cheer up the rather mundane looking silver/black cell phones, the “Spacephone” will be available in five fruity flavors: deep space, pink space, orange space, lime space and menthol space.

The Spacephone come sans frills or gimmicks like apps or games, and solely relies on its basic ease of use, like massive buttons, ease of use, amplified sounds a long lasting battery and for when those times when you fall and can’t get up, an SOS button.

Just the way grandma likes it.
