What if Planets viewed from Earth were the same distance as the moon

What if planets suddenly appeared in the sky the same way the moon does? Wait till you see what Jupiter would look like if it were as close to us as the moon…that’s some freaky stuff.

Brad Goodspeed’s “Scale” shows us just how small we really are in the grand scheme of things,  but it also reminds us of the awe-inspiring beauty of the universe. I think I’d rather have Neptune as a moon than Jupiter, although the music didn’t help

I always felt a little afraid of gas giants. The idea of them not having a solid surface freaks me out. Just imagine, descending into the clouds, deeper and deeper into that rolling dark abyss. Shiver
