The title says it all, insert a USB stick or SD-card into the Flix On Stix vending machine and immediately have a movie, game, or TV show transferred onto the stick.

The vending machine, or Kiosk, eliminates the need to drive back and forth across town to a Blockbuster in order to rent a movie and best of all, no late fees!

Another great advantage with Flix On Stix is that you can watch the trailer of a movie before you rent it.

The service has not yet launched, but when it does, first time users must swipe a credit card and driver’s license (age verification) into the machine – after that enter your USB or SD device and a password and the movie will automatically transfer over. Your movie will automatically disappear from your USB or SD when the rental period is expired

Fees are based on how long you want to keep the movie, costing $1 for 3 days, $2 for 6, $3 for 9 days and $4 for 12 days. Once your time is up, the movie-file will self-destruct. There is also an option to buy.
