Heartless – Diplomat’s son caught beating his puppy on CCTV
For lack of better words, this piece of garbage, Mohammed Abou-Sabaa, who happens to be the son of a prominent Tunisian official, is caught on CCTV beating the hell out of his defenceless Labrador puppy a she cowers in fear.
In the sickening attack, you can see the heartless 21-year old kick the helpless pet down a flight of stairs outside his luxury apartment.
However, even though his behaviour was branded as being ‘despicable’, magistrates let him of scot free with only a slap on the wrist. Fortunately he is banned from owning a pet for four years and pay a measly $1,600 (£1,000) fine.
He was told they were letting him off because he was in full-time education – however it emerged yesterday he is likely to face disciplinary action from the authorities at Manchester University over his conviction for animal cruelty.
When he appeared in court, shocked magistrates asked for the gruelling six-minute video footage to be stopped because they couldn’t bear to sit through it all.
It shows the uncomprehending, mild-mannered pet cowering while Abou-Sabaa beats it ferociously, stopping only to mop his brow.
Whilst this is terrible for the puppy, this is also an indication of some emotional deficiency in this student which is not being addressed/treated.
There is a strong link between violence towards animals and violence towards people, if he is able to disregard an animal like this, what are the chances he could disregard people in the same way. This boy needs to be monitored and treated – otherwise it will happen again perhaps to another person.
