Flying Robot Plays Jingle Bells while Hovering in mid Air
The infectious spirit of Christmas hits everyone this time of year, even quadrocopter’s. The Swiss flying robot named ‘Echo’ can be seen and heard playing my favorite Christmas ditty of all time, ‘Jingle Bells’.
Echo is a test subject at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology’s Institute for Dynamic Systems and Control, where researchers study high-performance flight, fast-changing flight maneuvers and other topics using the quadrocopters.
After its done playing, maybe we could strap some mistletoe on it.
