The video show just how ridiculously close a United Aircraft Boeing 747 plane narrowly misses the iconic Golden Gate Bridge. Even the photo shows just how close things came to a disaster.
However, there’s close, then there’s real close. It kind of looks like quite a large gap between plane and bridge.
Regardless, why is it any time there’s a smell of something bad happening, people are out with their cameras thinking they’ll be offering the next CNN footage?

This plane did not come as close as it looks. It's a matter of perspective. Form the first picture here it's clear that there has to be at least 1,000 feet from the plane to the bridge.
