Cruising underwater in the Sea-Segway by Hydrobob | Video
It was only a matter of time, but it’s finally here. Resembaling a Sea-Segway, but being described as an aquatic scooter, the Hydrodome BOB (Hydrobob) – Breathing Observation Bubble (long name) allows you to breathe underwater while giving you the ability to do wheelies and jump over underwater cars. No, not really.
The experience looks somewhat clumsy and slow, but I can’t think of a better way to cruize the bottom of the ocean than on a Segway underwater bumber scooter.
This submersible scooter features a bubble helmet, seat, tank and a thruster… All you need to do is to pop your head into the helmet, take the seat and squeeze the trigger.
So far BOB is only available in sunny Fort Lauderdale, FL, where you can expect to pay a very resonable price of $25/hour to see a variety of underwater beauty and possibly come into contact with TV celebrity Roboshark.
He came from the shark infested waters of the deep to bring fun filled adventure to everyone he eats…(oops) meets. Actually he was the television host who would get up close and personal with sharks from around the world.
